From Under the Trees to the Waiting Room: How Has the Experience of Women at Marib General Hospital Changed?

For years, women visiting Marib General Hospital waited for their turn under the sun, on dirt paths, or beneath trees. Through a locally led initiative supported by the GoCSOs program, the hospital now provides a dedicated, safe, and dignified women’s waiting area , transforming a simple but essential part of daily life. 

A digital appointment system introduced by the CSO further improved the flow of services and reduced overcrowding. This initiative demonstrates how human dignity begins with the small, everyday details of how services are delivered.
